Hello:

I´m going to talk about the last day we spent in Dublin.

We got up at nine o´clock more or less, As it was our last day at home, the family prepared a special breakfast. We had a lots of pancakes with diferents types of syrups.
After that we packed our bags and we left the house and went to play football with other boys because we had tow hours until the the time to take the train.

We were playing football for two hours with other four friends, and it was very funny, but some of us were a little bit sad because it was the last day in Ireland.

Then we went back to the house to take the bags. We said good bye to the family and told them thank you for all. We had good days at their home, they were very kind with us.
We left home and went walking to the train station. Next to the train station we catch the bus to the airport.  In the bus some people made a speech, and they cried. All of us were sad.
We arrived to the airport and went to the securiry control very quickly, because it was late.
Some of us bought some burgers in Burger King, We were hungry but had to wait to be on board.
We got on the plane, and we were nervous about the homecoming.
The plane took off o´clock and we left Ireland.
We arrived Málaga at eight more or less (local time) and we had to wait for our suitcases. We took them and left Málaga to Granada. When we arrived ours families were there waiting for us. And we went home.
To sum up, it was a bad day, but it was an incredible travel. I´ll never forget it.

GOOD JOB!

Hello Guys!

I really hope that you had a great experience in Ireland. I just wanted to write a quick note to all of you to thank you for making this blog real. There are still some groups that need to upload their videos, but I suppose it is taking them more time than what I expected. I promise I will be patient, but please do you homework, ok?. Rememeber that this is a cooperative blog, so we all need to share our expertise on the topic: IRELAND :)

Apart from that, feel free to write whatever you want that is related to this trip: new expressions, feelings, magical moments, views, people you will never forget, thanks notes, etc.

Good luck! Difficult study times are getting nearer, so be organised and responsible when considering what to do with your time...

Today we visited several places in Dublin. Firts of all we went to Dublinia and to an exposition about the Irish Independence War.

Dublinia is a museum that tells the story of Dublin from the begining, when vikings arrived to the island of Ireland in the Middle Ages.

When vikings arrived they called it Dyflin. It was Olaf the white the leader of the group wich settled in these lands in 856.

In the Middle Ages there was a inequality between the rich and the poor people. There was a high mortality rate because there were a lot of epydemies such as black death.

Later we went to an Irish Independence War exposition. It happened in 1916, a hundred years ago, because Irish people wanted to be independent of England. It had lots of outfits of generals and important people of the army.

As the other days, we went to the academy. In our class we prepared a play for Friday. In the play, we have to use all the idioms that we've learnt such as:
1. play by ear.
2. It takes two to tango.
3. _____ rings a bell.
4. blood is thicker than water.
5. bite off more than you can chew.
6. every cloud has a silver lining.
7. face the music.

At the end of the day we went to Bray. It is a little village near Shankill, where we were staying. We had fun taking pictures on the beach and eating crêpes.
Summing up, we had a perfect day.
