Thursday 21st April, 2016

Today we visited several places in Dublin. Firts of all we went to Dublinia and to an exposition about the Irish Independence War.

Dublinia is a museum that tells the story of Dublin from the begining, when vikings arrived to the island of Ireland in the Middle Ages.

When vikings arrived they called it Dyflin. It was Olaf the white the leader of the group wich settled in these lands in 856.

In the Middle Ages there was a inequality between the rich and the poor people. There was a high mortality rate because there were a lot of epydemies such as black death.

Later we went to an Irish Independence War exposition. It happened in 1916, a hundred years ago, because Irish people wanted to be independent of England. It had lots of outfits of generals and important people of the army.

As the other days, we went to the academy. In our class we prepared a play for Friday. In the play, we have to use all the idioms that we've learnt such as:
1. play by ear.
2. It takes two to tango.
3. _____ rings a bell.
4. blood is thicker than water.
5. bite off more than you can chew.
6. every cloud has a silver lining.
7. face the music.

At the end of the day we went to Bray. It is a little village near Shankill, where we were staying. We had fun taking pictures on the beach and eating crêpes.
Summing up, we had a perfect day.
